Hi, my name is Samuel Stone. I was born in China, brought up in Burma, and built up in the United States.
Because of the countries and cultures I grew up in, I speak three languages—Chinese, Burmese, and English, and in the same way, my wisdom has been shaped by three distinct spiritual traditions—Daoism, Buddhism, and Christianity.
Professionally, I hold a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree from Drew University (New Jersey) with concentration on the 21st Century Leadership. I also have a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary. I am an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church since 1996. I am the presently the pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Paramus, New Jersey since 1999.
I believe every human being is born to be fruitful, and therefore, our lives are never fulfilled until we bear much fruit. A fruitful life is when we are able to live fully, love purely, and lead nobly. That is the kind of love that makes God smile because Jesus said, “My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.” (Jn 15:8) And this is what I teach you to become.
