Sam Stone
Like Bruce Lee who bridged East and West through his martial art, Sam Stone does it through leadership spirituality. He believes true and lasting happiness comes from cultivating a fruitful life, as Jesus said, “My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit … and that your joy may be complete.” (John 15)

Sam Stone (石波寧) was born in China, brought up in Burma, and built up in the United States. He received the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree on the 21st Century Leadership from Drew University, Madison, New Jersey. He is also a founding partner of the John Maxwell Team, a company of global leadership coaches and consultants.

Stone believes leadership is a spiritual pursuit, and he developed a leadership coaching methodology based on a fusion of East and West as well as ancient and modern leadership philosophies and sciences. His leadership model has been compared to Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do, a systemic strategic approach to achieve maximum leadership effect with minimum leadership effort.

Like a traditional Chinese sage, each year Stone coaches only a select group of leaders that genuinely desire to lead differently and make a positive impact in the society. Those who have been coached by him found themselves becoming highly effective in leadership and unaffected by stress.
